Warm Wrappings is a charity quilting group that is part of CCQ. There is something for
everyone to do. From sewing to cutting, ironing and organizing. Bring your lunch and
sewing machine, we'll provide the fabric and instructions. For more information, call
Lila Bradshaw @ (209) 529-3872.

Community Service
Community Service is an important part of our mission at CCQ. Members donate many
quilts to the community each year. Quilts were donated to CAIRE (Child Abuse
Interviews Referrals and Examinations), Redwood House rehabilitation care and to
local convalescent homes. Country Crossroads Quilters also donate quilts to local
community service organizations for their fundraising efforts. We support Friends of
Hospice, McHenry Mansion, McHenry Museum, Modesto Symphony and the American
Cancer Society.
Starting April 2008, Warm Wrappings will be on the
first Wednesday of each month from 10:00 to
2:00 meeting at Freedom Fabrics on Sisk Rd.
There are between 10-15 ladies who come to sew to
provide quilts for others.
